Our master's level clinicians are certified by the State of New York and serve clients from all parts of the Capital District ages 16 years and older. We offer day and evening hours that are flexible around individual schedules. For those interested in peer support, our counselors will direct them to the necessary resources that fit their individual interests and temperament.
At all times, our counselors treat clients in a thoughtful and courteous manner and adhere to the highest ethical standards of practice. Clients are expected to act in a manner appropriate for a professional setting, to explore issues with the counselor, and to be open to feedback from the counselor and from peers.
We provide services to clients from Albany, Rensselaer, Troy, Bethlehem and Delmar, East Greenbush, Colonie, Guilderland, Altamont, Berne and more. We accept Medicaid and fees are on a sliding scale.
DWI and DUI evaluations fullfil the requirements of the courts and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. If treatment and counseling are recommended for the client, these services are provided as well.
Drug and alcohol counseling provides each client with the individualized attention they deserve. Drug and alcohol problems are looked at in the context of the client's unique circumstances and personality.
Individual, group and family counseling allows for a variety for approaches for learning to cope with emotional and social concerns, communication issues, problems at work and school, and the stressors of everyday life.
Attorney and court referrals are handled with speed and professionalism. In most cases, evaluations can be handled within 48 hours or as per the requested timeline.
